The Campanile Berlin Brandenburg Airport, formerly known as the 7 Days Premium Hotel Berlin-Schönefeld, is a three-star hotel on Hans-Grade-Allee in old Schönefeld, around 3.4 km from Terminal 1. Airport BER Terminal 5 station (the former Schönefeld station) is about 800 m from the hotel; from there, S-Bahn lines S9 and S85 reach the Terminal 1-2 station in around 8 minutes. With rates from approx. €45, it is one of the cheapest options near the airport.
Who it’s for
- Budget travellers: rooms start at around €45 per night depending on dates, considerably cheaper than the hotels right at the terminal.
- Early flyers: breakfast from 6:00 every day and a 24-hour front desk work for early departures.
- Train arrivals: Airport BER Terminal 5 station with S-Bahn and regional services is within walking distance.
- Drivers: the parking garage right next door charges approx. €10 per night.
- Less suitable if you expect a hotel shuttle or want a hotel within walking distance of Terminal 1.
Getting there from the terminal
From the station beneath Terminal 1, take S-Bahn line S9 or S85 (each every 20 minutes) to Airport BER Terminal 5 station; the ride takes around 8 minutes. From there it is roughly 800 m, or a 10-minute walk, to the hotel on Hans-Grade-Allee; allow about 20 minutes in total. There is no hotel shuttle; a taxi from the terminal takes about 10 minutes.
Good to know
- Buffet breakfast at extra cost (approx. €14): daily 6:00–10:00, early enough for many morning flights.
- The front desk is staffed around the clock; check-in from 15:00.
- Parking in the garage next door costs approx. €10 per night (licence plates are recorded at entry); we did not find a park-sleep-fly package.
- Since 1 January 2026, the municipality of Schönefeld levies a 7.5% accommodation tax on the room rate, added on top of the price.
- The 155 rooms are air-conditioned, some with soundproofed windows; the hotel has a bar and a lounge with seating and work spots.
