The Best Western Premier Airporthotel Berlin is also known as Airporthotel Fontane Berlin. It sits at Jonas-Lie-Straße 11 in Blankenfelde-Mahlow, south-west of BER airport. The four-star property has 174 air-conditioned rooms and suites, some with a kitchenette, a restaurant, a bar, a sauna and fitness area, and 13 meeting rooms.

BER is around 14 km away by road. The hotel quotes a drive of about 15 minutes; allow more time depending on traffic. Plan for a taxi, or book a package that includes a transfer.

Getting to the terminal

A taxi to the terminal takes around 16 minutes over 14 km. Do not plan on a general hotel shuttle. The included transfer is not guaranteed without timely registration. The return trip is excluded; breakfast is included in the package.

Public transport is awkward: there is no direct connection to the terminal. The fastest option is a bus to Waßmannsdorf S-Bahn station and the S85 from there, about 22 minutes in total with one change. Mahlow S-Bahn station is only about 2 km away, but the S2 runs from there into Berlin, not to the airport.
