Adlershof: by S-Bahn to Terminal 1

Wildau: a small selection along the A10
Wildau lies south-east of BER along the A10 and is best known for the A10 Center (a large shopping mall). The selection is small: the main hotel bookable via Booking is the Gasthaus Fontane with its own restaurant from approx. €75, plus a handful of holiday apartments. By car you reach Terminal 1 via the A10 and A113 in approx. 15 min; by S-Bahn (S46 to Adlershof, then S9 or S85) the trip takes approx. 40 min including the change. Can I get from Wildau to BER without a car?
Yes. PlusBus lines 735 and 736 run from Wildau to BER without a change; the buses stop at stops A 3 (735) and A 4 (736) on the arrivals level of Terminal 1. The 735 runs via the A10 Center and takes about 26 minutes from there, the 736 via Wildau S-Bahn station. Both run hourly Monday to Friday; the first 735 leaves the A10 Center at 5:26 am and reaches the airport at 5:52 am, the last through service leaves at 8:26 pm. At weekends the 735 runs only every 2 hours, the first at 7:55 am (arriving 8:21 am). At night, bus N36 links Königs Wusterhausen, Wildau and BER once an hour (stop A 4). These times come from the timetable valid from 15 June 2026, so check your departure again in the VBB app shortly before you travel.
Does the S-Bahn from Adlershof run to BER at night?
Not every night. On Sunday to Thursday nights the last S9 towards the airport leaves Adlershof at 1:09 am; the first morning train then leaves at 3:27 am and reaches the station beneath Terminal 1 at 3:45 am (timetable valid from 30 March 2026). On Friday and Saturday nights the S9 runs right through, every 30 minutes during the night. If you have to be at the terminal before 3:45 am on a weekday the S-Bahn is no help: none of the night bus lines to BER (N7, N7X, N36) runs via Adlershof, so it is a taxi – or a hotel next to the terminal. Engineering work regularly shifts the first departures, so check the timetable the evening before.
